Our Community
Cades Cove is a residential community development of approximately 47 acres located in the City of Southport, Brunswick County, North Carolina consisting of 98 residential building lots. The property was annexed into the city boundaries and zoned (PRD) Planned Residential Development. Homes are a mixture of ‘Old Southport’ architecture, better known as ‘Carolina Coastal’, and cottage style.
Our Area
Southport, NC is located between Wilmington, NC and Myrtle Beach, SC bordering the mouth of the Cape Fear River into the Atlantic Ocean. The area experienced rapid growth particularly in the past 10 years due mostly to second home and retirement community development as well as aggressive economic development by Brunswick County. The overflow from nearby Wilmington, NC was also a factor in area growth. Recent commercial development in the City of Southport and neighboring areas has created new jobs and the need of full time residents to support the growth.
