Although watercolors have always been my favorite medium, it took almost until retirement age for me to decide to pick up a brush and put paint on paper. Since moving to Southport, I have painted at the Franklin Art Institute and enjoyed learning new techniques and the use of color. My painting subjects are varied and change with the seasons.

I have always loved pens and paper and am a self-taught calligraphist. Specialty items (poems, quotes, etc.) for clients are fun to do, along with addressing envelopes for special events.
